Text Content

When you use the Ask AI Anywhere extension, selected text from web pages is sent to our servers for AI processing. This text is:

• Processed in real-time to generate AI responses
• Not permanently stored after processing is complete
• Not used to train AI models

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage metrics to improve our Service, including:

• Number of AI requests made
• Feature usage patterns
• Error logs for debugging

Playbooks and Prompts

Custom prompts (Playbooks) you create are stored in our database to sync across your devices. Playbooks you publish to the community are visible to other users.

Supabase (Database & Backend)

We use Supabase to store account data, Playbooks, and usage metrics. Data is stored securely in accordance with Supabase's Privacy Policy.

OpenAI (AI Processing)

Text you submit for AI processing is sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI processes this data according to their Privacy Policy. We use OpenAI's API which does not use your data to train their models.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure authentication via Clerk
• Access controls and authentication for backend services
• Regular security reviews

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Chrome Extension Permissions

The Ask AI Anywhere Chrome extension requires certain permissions to function:

• Cookies: For authentication session management

These permissions are used solely to provide the Service's functionality. We do not collect browsing history or monitor your activity on websites.
